It turns out that Will works as a juggling street performer and has been following Emma around for years without her being aware of it.
Will has come home because he knows that Emma is also on her way home to visit her ailing father. When Emma arrives home, it is there in their old neighborhood that Will comes out from behind the shadows and talks to Emma with the intention of winning her heart.
Emma is thrilled to see her old friend again, and he cheers her up, but she does not see him as a romantic option. It turns out that Emma has a boyfriend with whom she is going through a rough patch.
Will is heartbroken and distraught when he hears that Emma has a boyfriend, and he's uncertain of how to react but still sure that he and Emma are destined to be with each other.
Product arrived perfect and in tact. My favorite movie!!! A great movie about a girl he loved that he lost contact with then found and although things didn't play out as he wished he found gratitude for all that she taught him and was thankful for their time together from beginning to end.
Very sweet movie indeed. I have no idea why I bothered with this movie - I rented it for some "crazy" reason and fell in love.
But this movie is so very charming and is so very possible. The sad thing is that most people may think this could never happen, but I know it can.
I did not know the leads in this but from the beginning I was charmed. I watched it on the computer screen and leaned into the movie to be as close as I could be.
Tom Sturridge has my heart and Rachel Bilson turned out to be as dear in the end as he was throughout the film. I can't say more than this but buy the film at the price on Amazon.

She has problems and looks suitably drawn and half alive as she realises that she was stalked by him over time. Can she forgive him after she tells him to get lost.
